I wish when you cleared the round it would just give you some gold, or break the barrels. Break every crate or find that survival fight. so far I have beaten the void guy once and continued the 'story' a bit but i'm now 7 hours in and STILL only have the two starting knights.Īlso IDK if you have him yet or not, but as you progress you'll unlock a training guy and you can give boss souls for bigger buffs (first one you can give is 10% more attack power) I get that RNG is a big part of the genre, but I'd like to try more than the starting two options.Īgreed. I'm also a bit bummed out that I have the mason who can potentially unlock more knight statues, but she needs some memento from each knight in order to unlock them. They should either give bigger bonuses per upgrade or the upgrades should come faster if they are so incremental. There's a lot more I could say, but I'm still fairly early game, so I'm not certain if there's some meaning behind some of it, I feel the upgrades way too weighted toward some upgrades. It's a sword, not a club.ĥ) the enemy telegraph needs work. You then have to dodge their attacks and chase them down. Why the hell does it knock back the enemies so far. For instance, the starting Lancelot sword. the Blue Regetin text is just so annoying.Ĥ) Some weapons feel rather useless. but you weren't there for the whole joke (this is early, I have yet to beat the void giant.) Also. trying to hint toward a hidden story, but it feels rather forced and trying to be funny.

I don't give a crap on leveling the weapons when my speed goes from a 5.9 to a 5.91, and my damage goes from 60 to 61. Here's a few points that I can't honestly give it a higher rating.ġ) The combat is a tad clunky which is sad when it's the focus of the game.Ģ) The blacksmith upgrading feels absolutely miserable. There's a bit of voice work, which is neat I guess, but not really necessary in this type of game. I can't honestly say I feel the game is worth $20.
